Your wedding at St John's Clayton
Marrying in church is personal, meaningful and spiritual - just as you want it to be. Churches are special and unique places to get married in - the prayers, promises and the whole service of celebration become part of your marriage, on the day itself and beyond.
You can get married at St John's Clayton if you can demonstrate that one of you:
1. Has at any time lived in the parish for a period of at least 6 months, regularly worships with us here or was Baptised and/or Confirmed here or
2. That one of your parents, at any time after you were born has lived in the parish for a period of at least 6 months, or has regularly worshipped with us for a period of at least 6 months or
3. That one of your parents or grandparents was married in the parish.
