GLU2 (God Loves You Too) 

GLU2 is a youth group for youths aged 10-18 (school years 6-14). The group meet on Tuesdays at St John's church from 7:30pm until 9:00pm.

The group gets together to play games, worship god, read the bible, goes on socials and trips to regional Christian youth events.

The GLU2 group also has an annual weekend away. In the past two years this has taken place in the small village of Conistone near Grassington. The group all really enjoy this time just to chill, get to know each other better and find out each others disgusting habits! Usually the weekend comprises games, praise and worship time, day trips to places like Grassington to have a nosey around, and plenty of walking!

GLU2 have recently taken part in a 24 hour stay awake fund raising event for Simeon and Katherine who are working with orphans in Equador. Everyone who took part had a fantastic time (even the grown ups!). This time spent together brought the group closer together so that everyone was comfortable enough to worship openly with each other. A massive amount of over a £1000 was raised from sponsors, jumble sales and cake stalls. Interviews about the event were even broadcast on the radio. 

        Just one of the whacky things we like to do! Dressing for Christmas celebrations!
